The big plus that makes this place stand out is the access to the banana plantation and fresh fruits in season (bananas oranges goyaves for us in february). Excellent communication with the owner."

Estupendo para pasar unos días apacibles y visitar lugares y pueblos pintorescos del interior de Gran Canaria. En el pueblo cercano de Santa Lucía se puede comprar lo que se necesite.La casa está muy limpia y bien acondicionada. El porche es estupendo para descansar a la sombra en la hamaca y se pueden coger frutas (nísperos, naranjas y limones cuando nosotros fuimos)...

"Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in der Höhle! Es war ganz nett eingerichtet, einfaches Equipment, nicht viel Luxus aber an so einem Ort braucht man es auch nicht. Man hat dort eine fast komplette Alleinlage. Der nächster Nachbar ist wohl erst in 500 m. So genießt man die große Terasse. Der Kamin gab eine tolle Atmosphäre (dafür musste man selbst Holz holen aus der Umgebung; dies war ein schöner Spaziergang) wir hatten immer Besuch von einer sehr lieben, respektvollen weißen Katze ;) Bitte...

"Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal über die Weihnachtstage dort. Auch wenn die Unterkunft etwas höher gelegen ist, und dadurch etwas frischer, so sind doch die Wandergebiete von dort aus sehr gut erreichbar, was uns sehr wichtig war. Für die kühlen Abende stehen Gasheizungen bereit. Das Haus biete ausreichend Platz und ist sehr ruhig gelegen, man sieht niemanden und ist völlig ungestört. Was die Küchenausstattung anbelangt so gibt es hier Verbesserungsbedarf, was uns aber nicht abhalten würde,...

"Casa Almendra is a sweet traditional style property set in a tranquil, unspoilt area. The garden is delightful, surrounded by stunning mountains, with outside eating and star gazing areas, and the pool was always warm!
