"Booked to stay for one night to visit family waited for the access details to be emailed, messaged the host to be told at 8pm that the property is closed qnd isnt available to stay in but still took the money for the reservation and its non refundable "

"Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand. Was maybe 2am before all was quiet. Also nothing to do with house but there were scrambler bikes going up and down...

"Unfortunately didn’t get to experience the property as our host cancelled which I didn’t find out until I messaged them the night before requesting information, terrible experience which ultimately ruined the planned weekend as nothing else available 16 hours before departure, if I hadn’t text I would of arrived and turned away ??? Poor host, unforgivable lack of communication and basic respect"

"Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? Overall, the place is okay but the hassle is not worth it "

"From start to finish the stay at the property was perfect easy check in, Lovely touches left by the owner, The property was well maintained, Nearby stores and restaurants yet in a quite and upscale neighborhood. I had 3 boys ages 9-8, They had all the entertainment in the house & garden they could want. The house is clean and comfortably and big enough for everyone to have personal space. Thank you for being part of our trip."

"We arrived at the property to find the property not the one in the pictures we found. The listing had 3 bedrooms but we only discovered 2 bedrooms one with two beds and one with a double bed. We still expected a seperate room each. I had tried to communicate with the host weeks before the stay and was getting no response on VRBO so I had to text message to which I got a reply. Other than that we enjoyed the stay. The neighbourhood wasn’t the best and it was very difficult to find a car park...

"The property was beautiful with lots of character. It was clean and well maintained and the flowers were a nice touch. The layout and location worked well with our 3 boys. The location is beautiful and it is a great location to explore that part of England."

"The location was outstanding and the house was quirky, spacious and perfect for our stay. Everything was provided and the host was friendly and checked on us. Fantastic garden and grounds with lots of wildlife and space for grandchildren to play. Quiet and relaxing. Would love to visit again."
