"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. "Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "I was there for only 2 nights, but was completely fine with the guesthouse. The room was very comfortable and clean with a balcony. The contact person Luigi is very friendly and informs you upfront with any services. Some cafes and bakerys are reachable in some minutes by feet."

"This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "The beach and restaurant are quite lovely as is the entrance to the hotel. We were taken through the hotel, out the back ally, up some stairs to a different building and into a large undecorated room with a large patio with no view. There was a party in the room above us all night that made it impossible to sleep. I’m sure it was once a lovely location but it hasn’t aged well. Best for young folks that want to party. "
