"The property was quaint and the perfect size for myself, my husband, our daughter, and a small dog. There were a few things left behind from the previous renter, which is why I could not give 5 stars for cleanliness. The porch was my favorite part of the house. Morning coffee while staring at the ocean was great. The area in front of the house is a great spot for shelling. I found 4 sea biscuits on one of my morning walks. We had a wonderful time and would rent again if given the opportunity."

"This cottage was so charming and cozy! It was a great jumping off point to see the area from Holden Beach, locally, to Oak Island to climb the lighthouse and to Southport to walk the quaint town. The cottage is so wonderfully decorated and made us feel so welcome. The fenced-in yard was perfect for my furbaby and we enjoyed sitting out back in the evenings. Thanks so much to the hosts for sharing their sweet cottage with us!"

"VERY quiet neighborhood and great walking. My mother was recovering from a long illness and enjoyed the screened in porch. Bedrooms and baths were very nice. Kitchen had most everything we needed but I would suggest some more glassware and coffee mugs Loved being close to Shallotte and Ocean Isle Beach. Overall, a great trip and would rent again. (PS....wind chimes would be lovely)"

"This property is in a great location. Cutely remodeled. Comfortable beds. Very pet friendly. However, whoever was staying in the upstairs unit had 3 dogs who barked excessively and had what sounded like a bowling ball they played with at all hours. Impossible to get any sleep. Never heard the owners try and correct their behavior....and owners left very early (4:30 am Saturday and 6:00 am Sunday) Could hear the dogs running around jumping on and off the bed and barking constantly. Not the owners...

"We had a great fun filled vacation week at Holden Beach. The entire family enjoyed Frank's Folly. Clean house, great ;location, spacious for our family. Hopefully we can stay again next year when 2024 schedule is available!"

"The cottage was just like the pictures. Very well equipped, nice beds and furniture, appliances and a short walk to the beach. Had a problem with the keurig coffee maker. Property owners and management had it replaced with a new one the same day. They are there for you! The best recommendation I could give is that I look forward to renting again!"

"We loved the property and even from second row the view was nice. The only real issue we had is the outdoor spicket to rinse off feet didn’t work and maybe just a few more towels but you do have a washer and dryer so…. We really enjoyed the space, TVs in every room, books, and monopoly game was a nice touch. Balcony on both sides of the house. The wood on those may need to be replaced in a couple of years. "The rooms were clean, lots to do with beach on site . Parking instructions were not good and when I finally got to my room my room keys didn’t work so had to reload my car and go back to the front office to have my keys reprogram . Not their fault but after a long drive with kids not what I wanted to deal with . "
