"As soon as I arrived, I booked an additional night! It's slightly off the beaten track, and has a few small, great eateries and beaches nearby. You get 10% off the local beach restaurant with excellent sunsets, a welcome coffee and plenty of friendly staff. Everything is super quiet, with public transport right in front of the hotel, or an airport shuttle if you prefer!"

"The hotel itself was pretty, and the buffet was surprisingly excellent. There’s a putt putt course there, but they don’t even turn the lights on at night. So don’t plan on using it after the sunsets. The Mexican restaurant that you have to have a reservation for isn’t really worth the time or effort. The main buffet is beautiful and has tons of options. Very family friendly. We stayed in one of the Casitas, they packed so much furniture in there you can barely move around it. "Really enjoyed our stay at Barefoot! The hotel is beautiful and the location was perfect. So many good restaurants (including the hotel restaurant). A real delight was that the pool is open all hours (just at your own risk after 6pm), which meant we could enjoy night swims, which is something other hotels don’t usually allow. This was the highlight of our trip- it was so peaceful outside at night watching the stars. Pool was also the perfect temperature. I recommended to my sisters who are...
