Staff and location are why you stay here

Located on the 4 th floor above one of Cairo's busiest avenues is a double edged sword. Handy to the museum and Tahrir Square but lots of street sounds. They do abate by midnight and don't start up again until 6:30 or so and ear plugs work. There is very limited public area at the reception and smoking is allowed,alas. But it does not reek of tobacco otherwise. The staff are all cheerful and very helpful from organizing day trips to ordering in from Kazam. When my budget single was not available, Mustafa gave me the triple for no extra charge. Wi fi in the room is great and the shower is nice and hot. if you value good basics and appreciate value for $, stay here.

Good Location for Accessing Cairo

As we were staying more than two days, the hostel arranged for a ride into town from the airport. Even though our plane was a little late, it was nice having a driver waiting for us. This was our second time staying at One Season, so nothing came as a surprise. Access is a little difficult if not physically fit as the elevator does not work or is not safe for people. The climb up the dark and dirty steps might be hard for elderly or immobile guests, but once inside, we felt right at home.

Great hostel with friendly staff

Always there to help also to make sure to lead the right way if a customer needs it! Full tours of egypt with great translators! All staff work hard for you to have a great stay! Recomend for all!

One night in Cairo

Stayed one day in Cairo and this was the perfect hotel for us. Its very central and close to Thair square with Egyptian museum. The hotel is in a kinda shady house and it is a bit worn down. But the manager is very friendly and it works well as a place to stay for the night.

Hotel horroivel, nao recomendo a ninguem

Pior lugar que fiquei na minha vida, tanto que reservei por 3 noites e fiquei somente uma noite. O hostel fica no 3o andar de um predio velho e muito sujo no centro de Cairo. Velho ok mas por dentro as escadas ate o 3o andar nao deveriam ver uma vassoura e agua uns 100 anos. Dentro do Hostel ate que aparencia era melhor, porem assim que chegamos nao havia agua no banheiro, sai para comprar agua e quando voltei o andar estava sem energia eletrica. O banheiro tinha um cheiro insuportavel de esgoto que impreguinava no quarto era impossivel dormir com aquele cheiro e pra ajudar estavam fazendo alguma reforma em algum dos andares e ficaram martelando a noite toda, se conseguir dormir 3 horas foi muito. Ainda estou em viagem e retornando ao meu pais entrarei em contato com o expedia para obter meu dinheiro de volta!!

Das Hotel war nicht sehr sauber nur oberflächliche Sauberkeit. Frühstück ist auch nicht das beste.In die Toilette kann man kein Toilettenpapier rein schmeißen weil die Toilette dann sofort verstopft.Es werden von der Rezeption(wenn man das Rezeption nennen kann) reisen angeboten wo die einen total mit dem Geld abzocken (also sehr vorsichtig sein)

For the price, amazing!

I really had the best time ever staying at the hotel. The staff work so hard to make your stay a pleasant one, and the rooms are bigs and very clean. Location is fantastic, right next to the museum and other attractions. For the money, you'd get much more than you pay for. Excellent hotel, didn't want to leave. Will definitely stay there again when I come back to Cairo. Would recommend it to anyone. Only draw back there is no communal dining area yet, so breakfast is are end in the room. But everything else was perfect.
