"The place is clean and peaceful. The pool was refreshing and the yard had shade and has wildlife that comes by often. We saw sloths, howler monkeys, capybaras, tucans and anoles. The kitchen is well equiped. Big things for me: sharp kitchen knife and plentiful ice trays. Hosts extremely helpful. The place was very easy to find. Internet worked as described. The fans provided great breezes. The outdoor shower was amazing. Make sure you try it at night and when it rains! We will come again."

If you have problems climbing stairs though, that will be an issue because they're a bit steep, but for location you can't beat this place! It's literally 100 feet from the beach, and you can hear the waves from the bedroom. There's no better location anywhere."

"The staff was super responsive and hotel gave an excellent jungle experience. I will say the location was deceptive. The map looks like its in Cahuita when its actually a 45 minute drive away in Punta Uva. Also you must pay for your stay in cash or they will charge an exorbitant credit card fee."

We were treated to fresh fruits and an educational walk of the property by our hosts. We loved the sound of the oceans waves breaking on the beach and the sounds of the forest. "I had booked two nights and ended up staying four because I liked it there so much. The rustic cabins are decently sized- I was alone- and clean. There's a bed, a small kitchen area, bathroom, and TV. It's located about 2-3 km from Puerto Viejo. I walked to town for the exercise and enjoyment and it's about 1/2 hour walk. "If you don't mind a big pile of sand just out your front door and a swimming pool hole work in progress right out your back door plus dust and construction noise all day long.
