"Cannot recommend Nellie’s Cottage highly enough. Host Melissa has thought of everything, from a cosy fire and bottle of wine on arrival on a chilly mid-winter night to a generous breakfast hamper and DELICIOUS croissants. Even ice creams in the freezer. Tastefully decorated and with quality linens, amenities and kitchen appliances. Loved our stay. "
"The place is basic but clean and sufficient for a comfortable for the stay. We had a massage chair in our bedroom which worked as a miracle on our muscles after tiring hikes! We also had a personal electric heater in our bedroom. The staff were very helpful and let us leave luggage in their store room on the arrival and departure days. Our stay was pleasant and very cost-effective."
"It was great for a 4 night stay. Lovely welcome and staff were very happy to help. The bed was comfortable and as it was winter, good controllable heating. Having a fridge and microwave in the kitchenette was really helpful. The car park lights at night, and the really bright hallway lights were the only thing that was annoying, but I guess they keep them on for security. "
