"Lovely old hotel but has no elevator to get to the top rooms. Not for geriatric population. On the middle of an active square with lovely help at the front desk."

"A/C was broken and the towel heater would t shut off causing room to be terribly hot and humid. Also, antenna only tv had 20 some channels but no option for English speakers Otherwise it was very good."

"Good place to stay the night before our return trip on the ferry early the next day. With easy access to the old town the tram stops outside the venue. Staff were really helpful and helped us to get in to town and use the tram. The restaurant has a great atmosphere as does the roof top bar."

"The hotel was generally clean. Some parts were a little run down, but nothing major. The pool was very cold, despite been listed as heated - even in the August heat wave! The hotel advertises air conditioning - it does not have A/C!! It has a general 'air cooling system' which doesn't cool the rooms in the slightest. You can't alter the temperature in the room and no cool air comes from the vent. This was confirmed by reception when we reported our 'A/C' not working."

"Very comfortable bed, especially the pillows. Super friendly staff. They also had a rotating fan in the room which was nice given that it was a warm and humid night."

"A wonderful warm welcome when we arrived late. The manager met us at the door with our key and explained everything we needed. Super friendly staff. The hotel is very dated and fixtures and fittings are worn but was spotlessly clean and the room was spacious and had everything we needed."

"Accommodation was perfect for our one night stay over on our way back to Cherbourg. A bit dated in places, walls need a fresh layer of paint and kitchen needs to be refreshed. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space. We checked in after 8pm so we used the after hours check in process and it was clear and easy to follow."
