"This was a lovely property hosted by Marielle. We were in the upstairs bedroom but she had an elevator installed so it was no problem. The room (overlord room) had a direct view of the Bayeux Cathedral. It looked fantastic in the evening light. The room was rather overdone in the WW2 theme, but overall a very comfortable stay. It is literally across the road from the cathedral and tapestry museum with lots of shops and cafes nearby. The plus for us was laundry and an onsite car park"

"Charming villa in a perfect location to explore the Normandy Beaches and surrounding areas. Only a few minutes to Arromanches (even walkable) and Bayeux. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with so many thoughtful details. Friendly and accommodating hosts, and the breakfast was delicious. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!"

"This is a lovely place to stay. Conveniently situated in a quiet street, in a village close to both Ouistreham and Caen, it makes a perfect base to explore the area. "Lovely setting with large bathroom and all amenities. If you are upstairs you have to get used to the sloping roof encroaching in the bedroom, but a very small prive to pay. Owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home."

"It was a great place to relax and enjoy the hotel and countryside. I had the run of the house and kitchen. I felt like I was in my own home. I stayed two extra days and used the farm(cattle) as my base for circular drives in the area. Parking was in the courtyard and very accessible."

"This is the second time over the past 2 months that I stayed at this beautiful and peaceful Bed & Breakfast type of accommodation and this second time was even better than the first time since I was able to experience the entire property fully in my two-night stay. This time, I was able to enjoy the very serene, quiet and relaxing pool. Walking around the extremely pleasant gardens, yard, and relaxing hobby farm was magnificent. We really enjoyed feeding and interracting with all those animals...

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."

Really nice staff, great communication before and during the visit accommodating our needs. 20 minutes walk to the town center to the bars and restaurants and easy to get out to the main highways to get around Normandie.
