"It is an older facility but not run down. For for the price, you can't beat it. When you just need a comfortable and quiet place to rest and clean up to go to your next function, it's great. No complaints at all. Staff is friendly as well."

"We loved every minute of our time at Whispering Pines and in Mt. Ida. We were able to disconnect and enjoyed much needed family time. We loved the hammocks, fire pit, creek and the hiking near the cabin. We didn’t do everything g we wanted and everyone was ok with that! The cabin was so cute and clean and the kids loved having for life upstairs to sleep in. "

"We came to Arkansas for a mother daughter trip and we had the best time. We came to canoe but the water level was to high to safely float especially with children. Marc told us about a hiking trail called little missouri falls and it was well worth the 40 min drive. We hiked and we got to swim at the waterfall. We loved it, you will need a truck or suv to manage the terrain into the trail. We also spent time in hot springs which is about a 45 min drive. "

"We really enjoyed this location! Great fishing, beautiful views, our teen boys loved the loft upstairs, and our little cove was perfect for the littles to play in, even with the river being too high to float the whole stay. We still enjoyed our inlet, and the wooden stands they have at the bank to store your floats, coolers, etc. The concrete driveway is SO STEEP though, so we felt more comfortable parking small cars down by the bank and driving the truck back and forth. Great stay, and we will be booking again. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here! The outdoor bath house overlooking the creek was awesome. The cabin was stocked way better than any other VRBO we’ve rented before. Very remote but we had no visitors even tho we stayed on Friday the 13th lol! Floating the Caddo was a bonus. Will definitely visit again. "

"We stayed for two night for our anniversary. It was perfect! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. My favorite part was sitting on the back porch swing while listening/watching the water from the Little Missouri River. It was so peaceful."
