The location is amazing: within walking distance from the cable car and beautiful hikes in the valley, a short drive to other cable cars, and only 1.25-1.5 hours away from Zermatt by car. The apartment was perfect for us and very large (we are a family of four). It is super-clean, extremely well-equipped, and is both cozy and spacious. We had an issue with arriving very late at night due to massive airport delays and road constructions on the way, but...

"Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in Grengiols verbracht und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Die Wohnung liegt mitten im Ort, ist aber trotzdem ruhig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Bei Anreise mit dem Zug muss man berücksichtigen, dass der Bahnhof ein ganzes Stück unterhalb des Ortes liegt. Der Weg ist aber auch mit Gepäck machbar. Im Dorfladen gegenüber gibt es sogar frische Brötchen und auch sonst eigentlich alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

Die Wohnung ist sauber, sehr neu und mit guten Geräten ausgestattet. Allerdings kann man die Küche nicht so richtig zum kochen nutzen, da zb Schalen oder Teller fehlen. Das Schlafsofa war ok, allerdings etwas wacklig. Keine Balkonmöblierung. Wir würden es nur bedingt weiterempfehlen."
