Villa Rubia: Villa Rubia is an authentic, beautiful house suitable for a perfect holiday. It is furnished and decorated in style, plus all the modern comfort you need.The house is large, comfortable and well situated Villa Rubia lies in the middle of Cadaques on a square, facing the beach. The terrace on the ground floor is unique and perfect for little children. Upstairs there a terrace very private with beautifull views over the Bay.



Cadaques enjoys a western Mediterranean climate, with long sunny Summers and mild, bright Winters, with predominantly fine weather all year round.

Cadaques: The little town Cadaques offers you a lot. Friendly people, a beautiful area, little restaurants and shops, diving schools, art-galleries and museums like 'Salvador Dali's house and even more. Picasso and Miro who favoured Cadaques for its brilliant light and enchanting antiquity, Enjoy Cadaques special charm, browsing its chic boutiques, private galleries, good restaurants and music bars.

Une vraie maison de famille typique et tres agréable. Pour une immersion parfaite dans le magnifique village de Cadaques, avec la mer aux pieds. Ne convient pas aux personnes à mobilité reduite et aux tres jeunes enfants (escaliers).

Kurzurlaub

Wir, 7 Männer waren zu einem Kurzurlaub in diesem super Haus. Die Lage ist einmalig, kurze Wege, super Aussicht auf das Meer und die Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung und im Haus ist alles was man benötigt. Wir kommen wieder. Fantástica ubicación y espacios muy amplios

Hemos estado muy bien. Cocina amplia y bien equipada. Casa muy espaciosa. Armarios en todas las habitaciones. Nevera gigante aunque no enfriaba mucho. 2 baños grandes y reformados. Y la ubicación increible

we plongee extra et la magie de Cadaques

Nous sommes un groupe de plongeurs. Cette maison est parfaite car proche d'un ponton et des bouees pour notre bateau. La courette et le garage sont parfaits pour notre materiel. Pour les plongeurs non equipes il y a un club tenu par des jeunes juste à coté ! Maison typique de Cadaques, tres ancienne, parfaite pour les groupes (12). Nous nous sommes régalés, 3 jours passés trop vite. Seul bemol : la placette devant la maison est tres animée et tres bruyante (restaurants, conteners dechets, passage) mais cela fait partie du charme de cette maison de village catalan....on adhere ou pas. Petits couacs au niveau ménage mais sans importance. Un grand merci au proprietaire et à l'agence pour leur confiance et leur flexibilité. On reviendra!

Séjour idéal en famille au coeur du village

Nous avons passé 4 jours merveilleux dans la propriété de Simon. L'agence qui gère la maison est à l'écoute et très réactive. La maison est idéalement placée et immense. Chacun a son espace, les petits comme les grands. Il y a effectivement le bruit du village (poubelles et animation) mais c'est ce qui fait le charme quand on loue en plein coeur. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

das haus ist sehr zentral gelegen; nur 20 meter bis zum meer und im zentrum von Cadaques. aber dadurch leider auch ein bischen laut in der nacht

Prachtige woning op een centrale locatie

De woning was heel ruim en zo ingedeeld dat je ook jouw eigen ruimte(s) had. De woning is ook heel centraal gelegen in het hartje van Cadaquès. De keuken op de eerste verdieping had alle voorzieningen, ook de keuken op de tweede verdieping was handig, en op het terras boven met zicht op zee was het zalig zitten. Kamers en badkamers ruim en alles heel net. De communicatie met de agence verliep vlot en vriendelijk. De lichte slapers moeten er rekening mee houden dat het voordeel van overal dichtbij te zitten natuurlijk komt met het nadeel dat er wat nachtlawaai is van horecazaken en glasbol voor de deur.

Merveilleux !

4 jours de rêve pour un réveillon en famille à la vila Rubia. Vue sur la mer, chambres confortables et lumineuses. Parties communes spacieuses. Plage en face, centre à 2 minutes. Maison parfaite pour famille nombreuse.

Excellent for family gathering

The Villa Rubia is a very nice and comfortable house centrally placed in Cadaques. We were a family of 8, including two small children (age 1 1/2 and 3 1/2) + 6 adults and it functioned excellent. We spent two weeks in the first part of July and spent most of our time outdoors. The beach in front of the house was more than fine enough for the small ones, so we spent a lot of time there. Some of us went walking or jogging to the lighthouse about 3 1/2 km out, where there is an excellent, pebbly remote beach worth visiting! Visit to the Dali house in Port Llieggat, which is in walking distance (you MUST book online!) and the Dali Museum in Figureres is a must! At arrival (late arrival) we had a nice, well functioning agreement wth the house owner, and it was easy to find. There is only one parking (garage) but there is free parking about 1 km walk to the southeast. It was sometimes difficult to find room in the afternoon, however when the "crowds" left, there was always room if you waited until early evening. The house is well equipped, aslo with a crib and 3 chairs for small children. Specially the kitchen was well equiped with a big fridge, nice , big stove, etc. We loved the outdooor place downstairs with room for everyone to be seated. From the owner we got an excellent advice which we used several nights: the next door restaurant (MUT) was willing to serve us the best tapas in town (to our opinion) in our garden! Since we had the two small ones, this was an excelllent arrangement for us. We had our own plates, etc and wines and they came with the food! There are fans which was needed for the rather warm nights, and it funcitoned well for us. The only minus (which was balanced by the excellent location) was the noise at nights. The renovation of the very nearby "dumping" came every morning at 5ish... , and a couple of nights French youngsters, who obviously were partying at the beach, kept us awake. It was a bit strange that the police did not remove them as police frequently patrolled the streets during days and evenings. In total, this is a place and a house we would love to come back to, we had en excellent holiday in Villa Rubia in all respects.

Third visit!

This is my family's third visit to Simon's villa on the beach in Cadaques. As always the three generations had a good time. The location is great, and we love both the villa and Cadaques. Others have mentioned noise from the bar, and from the recycling bins, but for us the location of the villa and its facilities more than make up for these inconveniences. Both the owner and his proxies in Cadaques were extremely helpful.

Vacation

I’ve been to Cadaques several times, as a child with my parents caravaning, at hostal with my husband. This time I went with my big family, 6 adults and 4 children. The house was perfekt, very close to the water suitable for the children. Lot’s of bedrooms, toilets and showers. The kitchen was perfect for cooking. Very close to everything in Cadaques! We’ll come back in a close future!

A wonderful house in the perfect location.

We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children and this house was perfect for us. Spacious and perfectly adequately equipped, it provided us with a comfortable base in a delightful town.

Maison très agréable, idéalement située. Sur 2 étages avec une vue exceptionnelle de la terrasse du haut. Cuisine grande mais assez rudimentaire. Penser à rajouter quelques grands saladiers!
