Country Cottage / Bilbao

"Le séjour s'est très bien passé. Beatriz que nous avons eu au téléphone plusieurs fois parle parfaitement le français, Imanol son frère que nous avons rencontré parle l'anglais. Le logement est propre et plutôt bien équipé, Il faudrait peut-être rajouter un fer à repasser. Le jardin est équipé de transats qui permettent de se prélasser. Situé au coeur de la nature, nous avons fait des balades en forêt avec nôtre animal de compagnie. Bilbao n'est qu'à 20 minutes en voiture. Imanol nous a gentiment proposé de nous emmener avec son 4x4 au sommet du "Monte ilso", et nous avons partagé un en-cas avec lui et ses amis en attendant l'éclipse solaire du 12 août 2026. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'attention qui nous a été portée lors de cette soirée et les connaissances d'Imanol sur sa région."

"Wonderfully beautiful location. Perfect for exploring the area as well. Lovely garden for breakfast or tapas, or for having a drink in the evening. The host are realy super kind. We really enjoyed ourselves."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, nous étions 3 familles avec ados, la maison permet que chacun ait son espace tout ayant des grandes tablées aux repas. Une belle maison de vacances pour rayonner dans le pays basque Espagnol. Antonio était très disponible et nous a facilité l’arrivée et le séjour, merci !"

"Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña."

"This is a beautiful hotel nestled in the hills with very highly quality facilities and amenities. The food is great and the service is very personal. The staff are also very welcoming and hospitable. Juana, Yadira, Irima , Marcela and the team made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make us feel welcome . We will be back!"

"Atmospheric quirky hotel. Retains convent feel. Nice staff; good restaurant at night. Note it doesn’t do breakfast but good cafe nearby. No reception before noon. Good base for Bilbao - on commuter line to central station , one hour trip with regular trains ."
