"The staff was great. They offered us bananas ans coconut water from the trees. The pool was anazing! We used it at night with the stars and in the early morning . It was 102 degree day so we limited outdoor activies to morning. The air was a lttle slow to cool. But it did get cool. The extreme heat was probably the problem. But we loved the place!"

"We had the place to ourselves. Pool was great, breakfast was lovely, room and bed were comfortable. Not much shower water pressure and a bit out of town, but for one night it was just fine. Best to have a car, as the are no Ubers in Izamal. "

Continental breakfast is healthy and delicious, jacuzzi in backyard is a plus too, hamacas everywhere, and a Temazcal in the main patio for purification rituals, magical! "Perfect hacienda with a beautiful mix of rustic and luxurious. Service was very attentive to all our needs. We stayed in a detached hut, which was a cool (and air conditioned) place for our family of 3.Two gorgeous pools and a lovely palapa let us cool off in the heat of the day. Delicious Yucatecan food from the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Amazing birdwatching on the property. Not much nearby except for Mayan ruins at Ake. But this lovely place IS your escape. "

"This place is great! From the tent, to the food, and the area itself. The people there were super friendly and helpful, and we got to see a few great cenotes. There was even a complementary 45 min. full body massage - when does that happen?! It's good to keep in mind that they don't have wifi, and it's not super accessible to get there without a car, so plan ahead! We really enjoyed our stay at Hameki."
