"Moisis and Blass pool bartenders were great. Lots of activities at Westin - water aerobics, nice pool, and beach. Excursions - zipline, waterfall, tubing were great. Fishing was amazing, caught a rooster fish, beautiful fish and blue water. Also won the pickleball trny so took some hardware home as well. Great time, would definetly go back. Herson was a great local guide also. Tons of fun. Resturants were good, get reservations on fri before. Maids cleaned room daily. Wifi went down once but no biggie. Pura Vida!!!"

"This place is absolutely amazing! It is a very small boutique hotel, and has a private gate that takes you down to the beach. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was kept up beautifully. The food was excellent and the beach is unbelievable! At any given time, I don't think there were more than a dozen people on the beach with us. I cannot recommend enough! If you're thinking of going to Tamarindo, skip it and book here or at their sister Hotel. Playa Grande beats Tamarindo in every way. And this is a great place to stay if you're in Playa Grande."

"The W is an absolutely beautiful property. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met while on your trip. The room was not only immaculate upon arrival but daily they made sure the room was spotless. The only downside is no entertainment in the evenings on property and not many dining options. We had to go to the Westin to eat dinner but not a big deal. "

"We absolutely loved this place! It's in a perfect location to visit all the local beaches, however, playa flamingo is the nicest beach nearby. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. A Tico breakfast is served daily outside under the covered dining area. The pool is spotless and big! If you are expecting a luxury room, go elsewhere. If you are seasoned travelers on a budget that are looking for a clean, comfortable room with great water pressure in the shower, this is the place for you. It is very safe with a gated fence for added security. We highly recommend it! "

"Beautiful property with gorgeous ocean views and beach access. House is spacious with plenty of areas to hang out with a large group. Renting golf carts made it very easy to get around town to store and local restaurants"

"We loved our stay, the staff was extremely helpful and the view from our room was extraordinary. I strongly suggest getting a swim up room that's what we did, which made accessing things convenient. Customer service was top notch couldn't ask for a nicer staff. The cleaning crew was fantastic are room was left spotless every day. We really enjoyed the food. If you are not in good shape it's a long hike down to the tiny beach would suggest it for families with small children or elderly people to walk. The shower wasn't always hot but the good far out ways the bad for this place. The price was fantastic and we enjoyed the spectacular view"
