"This property checks all the boxes for a great trip to Varenna and to explore Lake Como. It is in an ideal location, central to restaurants and shopping and close to the ferry docks. It was incredibly clean and well appointed with nice details, like coffee and basic herbs and spices and plenty of other amenities to make the stay comfortable. "The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. "Corona is a charming village high in the mountains outside Lugano. We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable house. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and Lake Lugano. The village has a charming church, shops, many ancient houses, a few hotels, and a large swimming pool open to the public. Nearby are hiking trails in all directions. It is perfect for a family vacation."
