"We enjoyed our stay at l'escale. The room for 6 people was large and clean with comfortable beds and a lovely view of the marina. It was useful to have a fridge locker that we could use free of charge. Free car parking was also very helpful. The staff were friendly. It was an easy walk to the stunning beach or into town."

"The hotel is well situated next to river and marina. Well within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bus travel is free as is parking. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental."

"On arrival the chateau looked beautiful. It’s a really authentic French experience. Check in was smooth and the grounds were beautiful. We were only here for a brief stop off. Not too much around the area in terms of provisions but we had eaten before arrival and the resturant looked lovely. We had a drink in the bar area and that was nice and quiet. Would recommend to others clean, comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings."

"I needed a place to stay for the night as I was driving from Munich in Germany to Bristol in England. After driving to Dunqueque for the first part of my journey it was the perfect place to stop over, rest and then get up early for the next part of the journey to catch the morning ferry, which was very close to the hotel. The room was clean. The shower was great and parking is free. It's a budget hotel which was exactly what I wanted. I make this trip on a regular basis so, I will use this hotel again."
