"Hotel is right in the heart of Buxton, a convenient walk from the station. It was absolutely buzzing the whole time we were there - bands both nights, live sport in the day, but with the rooms being in a separate building out the back of the pub, it was amazingly quiet after the yard had been emptied. Clean throughout, staff were friendly."

Plenty of things to do within a few miles drive and lots of walking. Jo, the host, is welcoming and very helpful. We were 3 friends catching up and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay although the weather was very windy and we had rain and snow showers so couldn’t make the most of the outdoor space. "We enjoyed a comfortable stay here. The flat is well appointed and cosy. The bathroom is a real luxury too. Pre arrival info was poor and we had difficulty accessing the key safe but eventually worked it out. The lack of parking during office hours was frustrating but manageable. These two negatives shouldn’t put anyone off staying as it was a great location and really nice flat. "
