After an overnight, cross country train trip with two small children, we arrived at Hotel House Bran to find it deserted with chains on the gates. They would not answer phone calls, so we contacted Hotels.com customer service. "Excellent views and very nice accomodations. The neighborhood dogs were quite loud but despite that, we had a wonderful time."

"This was definitely one of the most memorable places we have stayed! It is a tastefully designed villa with three floors and the wine cellar. There are decks and balconies to enjoy the fresh mountain air and magnificent view of the sunrise lighting up the mountains. The garden gazebo andogrill could use some work as could a few other things in the house. But overall these small things didn’t detract from the beauty of this place much at all. Great value for the money!"
