The Songdo Beach Hotel is within short walking distance of the Songdo Marine Cable Car, and the view—especially at night—is absolutely beautiful. There are also plenty of restaurants in the nearby Wyndham Hotel area, all easily reachable on foot. A special thanks to Mr. O at the front desk, who was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay! Daily cleaning service is provided. While the facilities are a bit dated, the incredible views and location make it well worth the price. The hotel offers simple breakfast. As for getting around, we used Kakao Taxi apps to travel everywhere, so we didn't check the local bus routes, but the hotel is conveniently located not far from Jagalchi Fish Market (FBB), Gamcheon Culture Village, and Busan Station.

The couple that runs this “off the beaten track” hotel feels like a large bed and breakfast. Nowhere else can you have a view of the bay and shipyard. With that said be prepared for a location that is not in a tourist spot. If you’re looking for typical sights you may need to rethink this choice, but if you want a caring staff and interesting experience. Choice this hotel.

We enjoyed here during our stay with my parents and 5-month baby. Location was good (near Nampo & Jagalchi) and we could see the old Busan port view. Absolutely will stay there if we visit Busan again.

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to several outdoor markets in the heart of Seo-gu, Busan. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The only downside is that the hotel is surrounded by refrigerated fish warehouses and is a bit removed from the main tourist hotel district. There are also very few restaurants within walking distance. That said, I always felt safe, even when walking around at night. Right across from the hotel are outdoor sports facilities, including tennis courts and exercise areas. It was nice to watch people jogging, working out, and playing tennis from my hotel room. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with excellent service.

The Rooms where clean, the bed was like a brick very hard and uncomfortable. The surrounding area was a fish market the smell was terrible unless you like fish. Nowhere near a beach. Nothing around the hotel

A fun Place to stay

We found the hotel on line from our home in Tennessee, and chose this particular hotel for its unique location, it’s large room, it’s view of the ocean. It was a fantastic visit, the owner, Mr. Na was so helpful, a very humble and kind gentleman. We will go back. The view inside and out was awesome. We give his hotel a 5 star rating.

The hotel is an older property, but it is clean. The rooms are big compared to other hotels in S. Korea. The only thing I didn’t like was the lighting inside of the hotel. The stairwells were dark because they don’t keep the lights on. I believe this is because they want to conserve energy? However, if you wanted to use the stairs you could just turn the lights on yourself. The ocean views from the room and the rooftop terrace were incredible! The staff were very friendly and helpful! There were a couple of seafood restaurants a block from the hotel. The area where the hotel is in is more industrial. But a short cab ride can take you anywhere in Busan.

We had such a wonderful stay @ Busan Beach Hotel Songdo. Mr. Na went out of his way to make our visit to Busan a pleasant one i.e. helping to setup the TV so we could watch our favorite concert, treating us to a healthy breakfast, coordinating with our shuttle driver to take us to some of the must-see attractions in the city, etc. A great man overall! 😊👍

Our room had a beautiful view, and the staff at the hotel were very friendly. Close enough to a bus station but have to walk down a back alley to get to hotel. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and we barely slept. Breakfast included was limited to a piece of toast, a hard boiled egg and a small cup of coffee.

We were unable to take our stay because my husband had an accident and we had to cut our trip in Korea short. I contacted the accommodation, explained the situation, and asked whether the stay could be canceled under these special circumstances. We didn’t even receive a reply! :(:(:( Definitely no recommendation!

La cama parecía piedra de lo dura que era. El aire no enfriaba lo suficiente, no había sabana para arroparse, solo la de decoración. El desayuno pésimo, el primer día nos dieron huevo, un pan, tres frutas y yogurt, pero el segundos solamente un pedazo de pan y café. El estacionamiento muy malo.
