"It is situated in a historical building however very nicely decorated. The area has many many options. We came to Genoa by train and the location is 11-15 minutes walking distance. "The location is great but we had a car, and the closest 24 hour lot is an 8 minute walk with luggage and pricey even with discount. Apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift access. The apartment itself was clean with the huge exception of a wall of mildew in the shower and a broken toilet seat. The mildew was communicated to the owner, who did not reply. "We enjoyed our time in this cozy top floor apartment. It has a nice view of the sea, the church and the fort from a rooftop terrace. Convenient location, close to beach and shops. Small lift in building for 4 floors then two sets of stairs to the apartment. The last staircase is a bit steep and narrow. Bathroom is a tight fit, but has a full shower and nice hot water. Alberto and Nicoletta were very nice hosts with good response to communications and questions!"
