Nice views over the race course. Peaceful and quiet. Swimming pool was nice temperature, small but enough to have a little exercise. Didnt try the gym due to my schedule, but looked adequate. Changing rooms in good condition, on par with main stream leisure centres. Breakfast for £10 each person, provided a decent variety of hot and cold foods, various drinks available at no extra cost. Didnt try evening meals. Staff were friendly. Cleaning staff were super polite. General vibe was good and money well spent to enjoy some quality rest and relaxation. "

"We only stayed 1 night but the room was lovely and clean. The lady that checked us in was really friendly and welcoming and said that we could be heck in early when we came in to drop our cases off which really helped us have more time on our short trip. However, why really let the trip die was when we went to pick up our cases up and the lady at reception was incredibly rude to my dad. As we went in (around 7.30pm over 4 hours after check in) there was a huge queue of people who’d just got off a coach. We’d be happy to wait but we didn’t want to rush for our train "

"Loved Hampton by Hilton in York. Looks new, extremely clean, wonderful staff, loved the big hot breakfast included. A very short walk to the train from London and a short walk to wonderful restaurants and attractions such as The Shambles."
