"Clean and simple rooms. Not much in the area it’s based next to an industrial estate / small services. Staff appeared busy as they were covering both the bar / restaurant and the hotel. "

"Welcoming staff at check-in. Accommodation is in a great location with a lovely outdoor seating area. Room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, warm, comfortable and clean. Just two things to note, the en-suite needs a blind over the window for privacy from outdoor guests using the seating area, and the shower cubicle has mildew on the grout and tiles, which is rather off putting when stepping in to use! However, a very enjoyable stay and would use again. "

"My brother and I had a spacious family room which was clean and refreshed every day. Bunk bed wasn’t good for an adult but probably fine for kids. Room was warm and shower was strong. Staff were very friendly and helpful in the pub on an evening. Nige was chatty and especially helpful with parking our motorbikes overnight No breakfast included or available, sadly, but a good choice of evening pub grub. Be mindful of long waits on busy weekends."

"Room was small but lovely. Very noisy at nights which we didnt mind but bare in mind when booking. Breakfast delicious both mornings. Very cluttered with junk in the corridoors and corners which doesn't look great but also could be a fire hazard? Staff really friendly. Good size car park behind. Lovely pub. Great price."

"Check in was at a busy bar, and the first person I spoke to told me that someone else would deal with my check-in. So, I was left standing there with my bags with other customers trying to get past me to order drinks - until somebody else turned up. The room was on a terrace next to a children's play area, so it was noisy until the pub part closed. Still, the room was cosy enough. I was told that, when checking out, I could ask the staff present the following morning for an invoice. But, there...

"Wonderful room, very spacious and cool. Yes air conditioning goes a long way these days for the beginning of an English summer. Breakfast was also quite nice, it was freshly cooked and generous. If I’m ever headed down this way again, I’ll be sure to stay again. "

"Stayed for one night whilst visiting family. friendly check in , easy to find. Accommodation was clean everything was in working order. Only thing that would need improvement was the pillows , as they were very soft but this of course is preference. Bedding very thick and too heavy during a heat wave. Breakfast was lovely and hot, quick and efficient service. Thankyou "
