This cottage was well appointed and the owners were very gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was delivered hot and eggs and muffins were yummy. Very close to all shopping-all in all, a perfect stay.
The Kolbers were extremely kind and welcoming; they provided every comfort guests could imagine. The porch was the perfect setting to visit with our long time friends. We all had a wonderful stay and would recommend the Kolber Kottage to anyone seeking a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy Mother Nature.
We were in town for the Round Top winter show and enjoyed staying at the Kolber cabin—Eric was a pleasant and helpful host and the house just the right size for the four of us. After a full day of shopping and exploring, the quiet was welcome.
We had a wonderful time. The cottage is so cute, and the hosts are wonderful and very attentive. We really appreciate the yummy breakfast and fresh juice in the morning! We will definitely be back.
The cottage was very clean. The communication with the owners was very easy and very safe and beautiful setting will book again the next time I’m in the area.
Eric and Deborah were the most INCREDIBLE hosts and the location was PERFECT for our girls weekend of Round Top shopping experience! We can’t wait to go back!
A diamond in the rough… We were not visiting the area for the Round Top antique shopping but instead, we were in the area for the George Strait concert in College Station. We are thankful this was the closest place with availability because it was absolutely splendid. My husband and I loved it and our guests loved it as well. Their first experience at a B&B and now they are spoiled. We will be back for sure!!
Very clean and quaint farmhouse feel property close to Round Top but gives you a feeling of being in the country. Eric and Deborah are the absolute best hosts! They are so kind, friendly and very accommodating. We had a great time at their Kolber Kottage and so enjoyed feed in cows everyday... We will be back for another stay next year!
We had a very relaxing weekend in the country. Our hosts, Eric and Deborah were so welcoming and friendly. Eric met us at the turnoff and took us through the house which was perfect. They had lamps on and soft music playing. Deborah made us coffee cake and muffins for breakfast. They were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend their property.
Our family of six (including four children age 6 and under) enjoyed a long weekend at the property. Eric and Deborah were wonderfully gracious hosts; very helpful but never intrusive. Our children loved feeding the cows and walking down to the stocked pond to feed the fish. The location is perfect - very quiet and out in the country, but only about a 5-7 minute drive to the restaurants and shops in Round Top. Highly recommend.
Peaceful home outside Roundtop that we enjoyed for a few days while attending the antique show . We were a group of 8 ladies and enjoyed the space with the extra Texas room and 1/2 bath . Breakfast is provided and was an excellent coffee cake the first morning , the 2nd day was a hot casserole that was covered with some sort of chili powder so we did not enjoy that. Other than that the stay was wonderful and the house was very clean !
