"The location can’t be faulted, less than 10 mins drive from Mittagong and just over that to Bowral, on a gorgeous piece of land. The house itself was just stunning. Spacious rooms and plenty of breakout spaces, huge kitchen and dining table and the outlook over the farm was amazing. Very easy check in and check out process too. 10/10 would stay again!"

"The house is a simple cottage but offers the perfect escape from the city and reconnect with nature. Each morning we ate our breakfast and drank coffee out on the verandah listening to the birds and looking out at the beautiful views and it so tranquil. This is definitely the highlight of the house."

"Really nice property in a beautiful location. Hosts very friendly and great communication. Despite being on the ad, there was definitely no hot tub which was pretty disappointing in the very cold weather. Hosts said that it had been added by Stayz without them knowing. Outside BBQ was filthy and we had to clean it before use. Check-in was a bit clunky. Other guests staying on the propety at the same time, it was a bit strange seeing them wandering around while we were there but didn't really...

"We stayed at this property with our adult children and new grandchild. It was exactly as described. Very comfortable and spacious. About 15 mins out of Bowral and a great location if you want a rural stay but close to town."

"We enjoyed a wonderful weekend retreat at the Rye House. It was exactly what we’d hoped for. Perfect for several adults with 5 bedrooms. The house is surrounded by farmland, is very quiet,with a nice outlook. All that and only a few minutes drive from Kangaroo Valley township."

"We had a phenomenal weekend away with the extended family at Somerton. We enjoyed beautiful walks to see the cattle, admiring the stunning view, nights by the outdoor fire and playing tennis with the family. Judy and Grahman were exceptional hosts and we will most definitely be back again next year."

"Our family loved our weekend at Highlands Lake House. Sam was amazing to communicate with. Location stunning. House had great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and fire pit. Highly recommend. Only comment would be to Stayz that it would improve information for people with additional needs if you listed each accessibility feature rather than just a generic ‘wheelchair accessible’ comment. (Eg step free access to different areas including showers etc.) if you provided hosts with different...

"Kids had a ball. Woke up of their own accord before 6am to feed the calves and baby lambs and collect the chickens eggs. Judith and Don were so nice. Great experience, can’t wait to do it again."

"Loved the house, beautiful, warm, and cozy. Loved the surroundings, beautiful, lush green gardens and pastures, and the autumn coloured trees. Loved the night sky filled with stars. Loved sitting on the deck in the mornings, listening to the birds, and smelling the fresh mountain air. Loved collecting fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning. Loved the feelings of peace, rest, and joy experienced. Loved everything about this place and hope to come back."

"The house was well furnished, clean, and comfortable. The property was beautiful with some farm animals. We had a great time and would love to stay again. Communication with the property manager was easy and they were quite responsive."

"We love animals and this place had plenty of it. Ducks, Alpacas, Chickens, Birds and most importantly the 2 dogs Jonathan and Patrick who jumped into bed with us a couple of times and even dropped by for breakfast with our dog."

"Wonderful location for coat weekend away. The home was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was so warm and both fireplaces made it the perfect winter escape. Judy and Graham were excellent hosts and so responsive! The chooks, cows and alpacas were lovely to visit too."

"What a wonderful getaway we all had here in this beautiful valley. The house is great and had every amenity we needed. Comfy beds, lounges and a cosy fireplace environment. Great for family and/or a group of friends. We love to eat and drink so brought an esky as well which was helpful. It was so cool seeing all the wildlife especially the wombats :) Would love to come back some day. Thank you!"
