Great little spot to stay in burns. Clean, comfy, well priced rooms. Rooms near street can be noisy, but otherwise, terrific! Make sure you check out the Pine Room for lunch or dinner, RJ’s for delicious breakfast or Glory Days for some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten (their salad bar is epic too)

The property had seen some hard use, but was in the process of being renovated by a new owner. It was about the only option in town in our price range, so we were fine with the tired room. It was clean anyway.

The motel is being renovated so the outside looks very rough! I have stayed here twice and both rooms were remodeled and excellent. Its location in town is convenient and within a short walking distance to a park where we were able to walk our dogs. The staff is very friendly as well! Not many frills, but we weren’t there for that purpose. We would absolutely stay at the Silver Spur again!

Great location and these owners are working hard to create a comfy stay for you! While the exterior still looks rough, the new interior of the rooms are cute, clean and homey. I appreciated the firm bed and freshly tiled shower. AC unit is a little loud but blew cold all night long after a scorching 95 degree day! Very reasonable price and super friendly staff.

Our stay was great. We had a late arrival and the staff was friendly and helpful. The motel is under new management/owners and are in the process of making updates. Our room was clean and updated. We will definitely stay again on our way through Burns Oregon.

The owners are making progress on reviving a motel that still needs work on the outside. The room was in excellent shape. Not luxurious but very clean and comfortable.

The staff was helpful and friendly. This motel had barely the adequate overnight accommodations. No hand towels or wash clothes or soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Property was very dated. Blinds missing on window.

The place is clean and fairly quiet. Easy walk to restaurants. A good low cost option for Burns. Those seeking more luxurious accommodations should look elsewhere but if you just need a convenient and clean place to crash, the Silver Spur is for you.

The staff and reception were very customer focused and very approachable and friendly. The room was clean, quiet and air conditioned. They even got the room ready for us as we called ahead to find out it an early check in was possible. Safeway was close for a meal ( deli take out ). There were a couple of food trucks and a breakfast place in town. Also close by was Grocery Outlet and Dairy Queen. Pet friendly. Happy to come again

Silver Spur is a great place to stay as a half way point between Oregon and Idaho. The staff were excellent, the room was comfortable. Not a lot of options to eat, there is a Mexican restaurant, a breakfast place, Safeway and a few food trucks. Hines is close by. It is pet friendly and the rooms are ( upper floor) under maintenence ( construction )..no noise though and very quiet. 4 stars
