"A quirky b&b. Lovely inside and lots of thought has gone into the place by the owner. Very comfortable and relaxing place. Access 24/7 via coded door. Lovely settee area on ground floor with kitchen area. We had rooms 1. 4 and 6 for our group of 5 adults. Host superb. Nothing any hassle. Would go back. "

"Location wise this will not be for everyone as it is a little secluded, but for those whom are looking for a base to use that isn't Town / City centre it is ideal, beautiful setting with friendly and welcoming staff; this was my second stay in as many months and although not my usual choice of hotel (usually boutique / luxury hotels) I found myself submerged in the "quiet charm" of the hotel and staff; I would also add that the beds (mattress topper / linen) is worth of any 5* hotel that I have stayed in; so comfortable with a wonderfully sized bed. Yes, there are a few elements that could do with updating but this is reflected in the price and my usually very picky self found this all part of the charm / stay. "

"The Caley Hotel has a lot of history in the buildings, but the rooms are fresh and modern, with all the necessary details. We were in a room in a small courtyard away from the bar and restaurant and it was very quiet. The staff were all lovely and helpful. It would be nice to see even more of the local seafood on the menu, but the sea bass and rock bass were both very good. They seemed a tiny bit short-staffed, but everyone was clearly doing everything they could to keep things ticking over. My only tiny gripe is that I don't like the half shower doors that allow water to spray all over the bathroom no matter how hard to try not to let it, but that is a VERY minor point. I would definitely stay again if we visit North Norfolk in the future."

"Cheap and practical not quite as bad as some reviews .. nice clean bedding and towels .. Just needs money spending on it and an update . Free parking from 6pm till 8pm in car park over the road near arcade as only disabled parking at hotel . "

"Room was a little dated would benefit from a few modifications and the tap to be fixed as it dripped all night and was loud enough to be annoying. Breakfast was really good plenty of choice and fresh. Overall for the price and for the one night was good enough for us "
