"We loved this cabin which is in a secluded area on a mountain side. We enjoyed hiking up a trail behind the cabin. We were there in October when the leaves were turning color. It was beautiful!The owner was very good to respond immediately to our questions. This place is very kid friendly. The owner provided many games, balloons, bubbles and other things for children to do. Our grandchildren loved every minute of being there. They had a blast! The cabin is stocked with many supplies and food for cooking. The owner even left us bottled water. We really appreciated that. We used the fire pit for s'mores, hotdogs and for singing around the campfire. Because the cabin is somewhat secluded, we were able to enjoy the stars at night.I did read reviews that said there wasn't much water pressure so we were prepared for that. We were still able to shower. There is no dishwasher but that wasn't a problem for us. A rustic cabin shouldn't have one.Overall, this cabin was an ideal place to stay. If we happen to be in the area again, we may come back for another stay. "

"We have a front-wheel-drive mid-size sedan and had no issues getting in and out of the property. It is a little rough, but it can be done. Our bed in the loft was so comfy. We opened the windows and slept so well. If you have any issues climbing, it's not for you. My son can't climb ladders, so we put him on the fold-out couch area, and he said he slept great. The ladder we had to put outside on the porch because it fell off and hit me. It needs to be a little more secure. That happened before we even touched it. Other than that, communication was great. It is tiny but super cute. The pond was nice to sit by. We had a great time. We had coffee under the stars in the early morning. Little fox has a great view."

"The cabin was adorable. Please keep in mind it is a tiny cabin, so it is very small. If you are a taller person you may struggle with the loft area. I am 5 foot 2 and had no trouble, my husband is 5 foot 10 and he couldn't sit up fully on the bed. This is not a negative on the cabin itself, it is just the nature of the type of cabin and something to keep in mind. Also remember you are in the mountains. The driveway/ road to the cabin is steep and you may have trouble driving up the hill unless you have 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. We have a Chevy Traverse and it did fine. I will say the only negative we had was the outdoor lights were out, and since it is in the middle of the woods it was DARK. I had a bulb in my car so I went ahead and changed the light by the front door and sent a message to the owner in the morning about the lights I was not able to reach without a ladder. The owner did state they would have the maintenance person come replace them, however they were not working during our stay. I cannot say if they replaced the bulbs but there were other issues or if they did not come at all as I was gone most of the day. They were doing a lot of work on the driveways as we left that day so I could be that it just slipped their minds as they had other, bigger, issues to deal with. It is not a big deal to me as I had replaced one myself so I had some light. Overall it was a great stay and a nice cabin. I do think I will stay with this host again is available."
