"A lovely stay with a friend. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We found our room, the furthest point of the hotel up 3 flights of spiral stairs. It was clean and comfortable however due to a water leak along the corridor, the room smelt damp. Comfy bed and pilllows, had a good nights sleep! We also enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant. Visitors should however be given better directions to the carpark which is around the back. Thanks for a lovely stay "

"Super friendly and helpful staff . Property is a little tired in places . Could do with sound insulation between rooms very noisy plumbing between rooms) and floors! Especially when a function is on! Having said that our room was lovely and clean with heaps of room , very handy for trip into Southampton for the boat show. Lovely breakfast too! "

Stayed at the beginning of walk Sunday very quiet at night. Stayed at end of walk Saturday night. "We stayed in a family room (7) and chose it for the fact it has 2 separate sleeping areas divided by a curtain so plenty of space for everyone to get a good nights sleep. Each room has a tv. There’s an ensuite and also a separate WC. The decor in the main bedroom very pretty but the other room need a bit of paint to bring it up to the same and it also could have done with a fan. Bathroom spacious with a bath so ideal for kids. Dinner menu was ok. We arrived late and they accommodated us but not...

"We were going to a wedding nearby and needed an early check in to be able to get changed, having flown into LHR 2 hours earlier. The manager (Amanda I think her name was) had both our rooms ready for us which was amazing. Rooms were spacious, well furnished and immaculately clean. Breakfast was fab (I had eggs florentine). All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back :-)"

"Great house and fab location, loved the cows and horses walking by the front door! Only a quick stroll to the village. Would also recommend the cycle hire shop and great local bike trail to the Deer Sanctuary. Queens Head is a great pub with good food. "

"The cottage was fantastic and served us well for an extended family of 17. Well equipped kitchen and facilities and a beautiful setting. Great communication and assistance from the host. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and very much enjoyed our time in the New Forest & Bournemouth."
