"All staff friendly and efficient. Great to have, in our opinion, excellent food -evening meal and breakfast, good ale and choice of wine by the glass, and service, all on the premises making for an easy stroll back to our room! Our room had cold water coming from the hot tap and vice versa. Took a while to work that out. Informed the manager who made a note to deal with it. We enjoyed our stay and would do so again next time we're in the area."

"Robbie super helpful and friendly ( Batman/ waiter everywhere) Great location on The Rebellion Way cycle , cool room in the heat and very good food - beyond normal pub food We left very early and they made a breakfast to go for us, which was really appreciated Really enjoyable stay"

"Me and my family stayed here twice over the past three weeks and we really enjoyed our stays. In the height of summer the air-con was such a blessing, as the other hotels we have stayed in did not have ac, which made sleep incredibly difficult. "Great location but hotel tired and in need of upgrade. Staff friendly and work hard but under staffed at breakfast. Booking in at to wait as no one at reception (4 in afternoon) breakfast on second day was a fiasco and people got up and walked out. I am afraid I won’t be returning as it stands"

"Terrible experience, 1st night room was like a shoe box extremely hot in this heat wave with no air con and windows open 2inches with massive extractor fan outside very noisy and smelly, complained but waste time staff didn't want to know, took 2 & half hours of complaining at night to get them to turn extractor off so we could get some sleep, went off nearly 2am!
