Unless you have a lot of money the immediate area may not be the place for you to shop. Löhrstrasse is only a few minutes walk and the shopping there is endless, without vehicular traffic, and you can find real bargains there. "We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and well furnished. It was also really spacious and filled with light. The kitchen had lots of necessities so that you could cook a meal. There was an Aldi right next door which was really convenient. We had a car which worked out well since there wasn’t any easy way to get to the main train station via public transportation. "

"The house location is amazing with panoramic views of Koblenz. A Hugh house with TV room, lounge to look at the city views, modern kitchen with everything required to cook in at home, large bedrooms with the best sheets and bed is ultra comfy. Everything was immaculate and extremely clean. 10 out 10 does not justify the score. Give it a 20 out 10."

"This is a light and comfortable apartment with good views of the castle and vines from the seating area outside. Large bed and two wonderful showers! The kitchen was well equipped for self catering with saucepans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, kettle etc. A few more mugs and glasses would be useful. We had a very relaxing stay here in Alken and are hoping to return next year."
