"Lovely quiet holiday in the country, and still on the Algarve, not an English breakfast or fish and chips in sight, the accommodation is great and suited us well, plenty of room to site out on the patio's and enjoy the sunshine. It's a five mile drive to get to the shops so a car is a necessity, there is a little Portuguese cafe / bar just down the road that does nice coffee. "Place is just as described. Very small but great location with view of the beautiful beach from our balcony and close to restaurants!! Great area for hiking. We had some trouble finding it and had to ask local resident. In your check in notes you could mention it’s above the ice cream shop and there’s a narrow access on the left across from Breeze cafe !"

"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"The house is perfect for a couple, wouldn’t have changed anything. The garden is beautiful and leads to the cliff tops with lovely walks east and west. With orchids and birds in the garden it was perfect for the naturalist in me to enjoy. Simon was helpful and friendly. Just a really lovey time for us both."

"This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area...

"The view was lovely and such a pleasure to wake up in the morning too. Communication with Elmarie the owner was really efficient. Tricky road to access the house. Hot tub was nice after being cleaned. AC was only in the living room. Master bedroom fan didn't cool enough, other bedroom fan worked well. Loads of towels available which was really good. Kitchen was great to use and had everything we needed. Remember to bring shampoo and shower gel. Really beautiful view and nice drive into Lagos."

"Somos una familia con dos niñas. La casa estaba fenómenal, tal y como se aprecia en las fotos. Estaba todo muy limpio. El menaje, mobiliario, y distribución estaba todo fantástico, muy completo y práctico. La situación es inmejorable. Hemos alquilado varias veces por la zona y sin duda repetiremos. Mil gracias por todo Armenio, hemos estado muy agusto :-)"

"Great location to walk to the old town and nearby beaches, large pools and plenty of sunloungers. Decent breakfast, hot and cold options, cereal, lots of bread, but no variety during 5 night stay. Not entirely sure what makes a Premium room premium, don't even provide tea or coffee with the kettle. Overall excellent for what I was looking for."
