"In an attempt to beat all the tourists to Plitvice Lakes, we decided to drive up the night before and stay at the Plitvica Lodge so we would be one of the first to the park when the park opened at 7am. Hotels.com has the hotel listed at the incorrect address (Plitvice Selo 71/3 did not route correctly) so we got lost at 10pm - basically in the middle of nowhere - and thankfully had an international phone plan to call for directions, but roads are not well marked. "Stunning place for a little getaway. You can dine in at the restaurant on site or there are a few restaurants all within walking distance. Breakfast was great and the scenery from our patio was breathtaking. Will definitely book again if I travel here in the future."

"Beautiful property and nice new clean room, unfortunately the fridge did not work and some of our food went bad as a result. The older man who was the host was pleasant but spoke minimal English and we did not know how to contact him about the broken fridge. Otherwise would be five stars. "

"Property is best located of all hotels at Plitvice. Directly above Park entrance. If you stay at this hotel, a one day Park Pass is good as long as your stay lasts, which is a great bonus. Breakfast buffet is solid. Other restaurant is OK. Many options in the area. Rooms are old but cleanly with nice balconies. It is a very good all around stay. We'd definitely go back again. "
