"We had a great stay and everything was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was excellent. The property was well maintained and we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"The first thing I'd like to mention are the hosts, Robert and Courtney, they are the most wonderful folks to work with. They care very much about their home as well as their guests. From our first email to confirm our rental dates to speaking w/Courtney via phone before our arrival, they honestly make you feel like family. The house is prettier in person, it's beautiful, classy and very well cared for. The house was very well thought out. We had 11 in our group, and we had plenty of space for all. It offered everything that we needed & was well stocked with everyday items such as soaps, cleaning supplies, towels etc. The kitchen was equipped with high end cookware and utensils for all of your daily needs, we cooked full breakfast, lunch and dinner meals each day. There's also a large grill if needed. There are 2 sets of washers/dryers, great for drying our boat/pool towels each day. The deck off of the kitchen was used every morning to enjoy the beautiful lake view. The finished basement is a huge added bonus for entertaining especially after coming in off of the lake or after being in the pool. The saltwater pool is where we spent the most of our time together. There is more than enough seating in the pool area to make everyone feel comfortable and spread out. The 2-story covered dock gave us so much space to hang out together. We had plenty of room to dock our boat with easy access coming on and off of the lake. We would highly recommend staying here and plan to be back!!"

"Beautiful house, very clean, easy to check-in, thoughtfully well-stocked with everything we needed including kitchen supplies, stuff for the babies, and shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. Hot tub and sauna were great, pool was so much fun, and the lake (with paddle boards, kayaks, and enough life jackets for all of us including 4 kids under 4) was beautiful. Marina is just up the road to rent a boat and leave it at the dock on property. We had a great trip!"

"Nice lake house on warm private side of Lake Anna. Great for families! Loved all the included outdoor equipment. Nice and very well kept. Have to bring food, stores and restaurants are not close by."

"The property is very pretty with a lovely view of the lake. It is well appointed with plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, and even a paddle boat. The host, Jay, was very responsive and nice! He even set up a s’mores bar for us to enjoy! We were so impressed with his care for us during our stay. We had so much fun cooking hot dogs and roasting marshmallows and chatting around the campfire. It was a really great space for our extended family to gather, relax, and have fun!"

"15 of us spent a week here & truly enjoyed ourselves, 8 adults & 7 children. The size of the house was perfect, many separate areas for small groups & a large area where the whole family could gather. Kids loved the yard & fire pit, movie room was a big hit & a short walk to the lake. We all enjoyed the screened in porch for games & late evening gathering. There were clean linens for each bed & bathroom & plenty of hot water.However, we were disappointed with the condition of many items. For the cost of the weekly rental, we expected better:Exterior: terribly dirty windows, cobwebs, missing screensDishwasher not secured & washes poorlyKitchen faucet & 2nd fl main bath faucet need securingWiFi was problematicPowder rm door lock broken, automatically locking when closedCeiling light in WC of the 1st fl bed is dimFan remotes in either 1st or 2nd floor left bedrooms affect the fan in the other bedroomCeiling fan in the rt 2nd fl bed is inoperableBasement faucets leakBasement French door weatherstripping is coming offNo ironing boardOne screen door on the porch gets stuck openDisappointingly, the adorable little bunk bed room is a pass through to the attic. Littles were disturbed by olders passing to/from the attic space.Attic space is a great idea, but is infested with SWARMING flying insects, sometimes even invading kids’ beds.Property has great potential & would love to give the highest rating, but I can’t based on these issues. Most can be fixed by handyman."
