"Negatives: hotel is outdated and rooms are very modest. Positives: rooms are reasonably clean, excellent location and excellent breakfast. Overall, great value for the money and highly recommended if you just need a convenient place to sleep and convenient great breakfast before you head out for the day. 15 minute walk to Anne Frank’s museum and the heart of canal belt/ Jordaan, 15 minute walk to Centraal train station (trains to airport, to nearby windmill village, etc.), less than 10 min walk to the red light district."

"We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, with a few things worth noting depending on your preferences. The property is located in an emerging area that initially feels a bit industrial, but we quickly felt that it was safe and conveniently situated. It's within easy walking distance to both the ferry (free) and metro, which made getting around easy. There were also several good restaurants nearby, which added to the overall convenience. One of the standout features was the staff - consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. The all-day breakfast offering was a great touch. The hotel itself is clean, with high-tech check-in and room access that made the stay feel seamless and efficient. The room, however, was a bit unexpected. While the bathroom was quite spacious and well-designed, the bedroom area was noticeably COMPACT - just large enough to accommodate a queen-sized bed. That said, the room was thoughtfully laid out with good lighting and practical storage solutions, including under-bed space for luggage, which helped. Overall, this was a solid choice given that we were in Amsterdam during the popular Tulip Festival and most rooms had doubled in price. After we got over the 'initial shock' we were very happy with the choice. "

"This hotel checks all the boxes. The location alone is worth five stars — steps from the tram stop and a short walk to the central station, making it incredibly easy to get around the city without any hassle. Breakfast was a genuine highlight. The spread was impressive — made-to-order omelettes, toast, hash browns, mini pancakes, and plenty more. It’s the kind of breakfast that actually sets you up for a full day of exploring rather than leaving you wanting more. The rooms were clean, modern, and noticeably more spacious than others in the area, which made a real difference after long days out. Everything felt well-maintained and comfortable. Overall, a really enjoyable stay. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone visiting the area"
