"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. Lovely area for cycling"

Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und es hat auch ohne Französisch zu sprechen alles bestens funktioniert. Das Haus war sauber und alles drin was wir brauchten. "Property was clean and tidy and in an ideal location for walking the dog to the village. All the locals are very friendly and the local food store has a very helpful manager given that I had to go out the first night and buy some basics. The property was great with everything you need in an holiday rental apart from two things. "Lovely clean property in good location. Our teenagers however were forced to share a room as the owner had blocked off the upper floor. Prior to staying I declined the cleaning package in writing, however the owner tried to add it to the bill when we were leaving."

"Very good stay in St Valery. The cottage was well situated, just a short walk along the river to everything. The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! The stairs are steep and a touch slippy - my teenage daughter fell once, but this had been flagged up by other reviewers, and no one else had a problem. "It was very spacious, but the whole apartment smelled as if there had been a leakage. The goose pond looked drab and the geese made alot of noise. The chairs at the pool were all broken, thee tennis court was expensive and so were the bicycles. On top of it, we had an accident with the blankets. We had taken the package including sheets etc. We asked for them to be cleaned. We had to pay € 24!"

"Gîte spacieux, propre, calme et très bien équipé. A proximité de la mer et des supermarchés. Le terrain est très appréciable, d'autant plus lorsqu'on a des enfants ou des animaux. Une seconde salle de bain serait effectivement la bienvenue pour éviter les embouteillages :) Les 2 WC séparés sont bien pratiques. Hôte accueillant aussi bien à l'arrivée qu'au départ. Nous avons bien terminé l'année 2023 et bien commencé 2024 dans ce gîte."

"Het huis ligt on de tuin van de bewoners wiens huis aan de straatkant staat. Van de straat hoor je dus niets! Er is een privétuintje met ligstoelen en ander meubilair. We konden er volop van genieten omdat het zomers warm was. De katjes en de hond zijn fan van de bezoekers en komen geregeld langs. Het huis is goed uitgerust en alles functioneert zoals het moet! We werden ook warm onthaald en dat is altijd fijn."
