"Extremely calm surroundings: we heard bird singing only with our windows opened. Very responsive host: we had a problem with our rental car and got an answer to our message right away. The breakfasts were great: bread, croissants, yaourt , butter, homemade jams, cheese from the area, cake, fruits as well as tea and coffee. the table was prettily set up. Lovely village well situated. All in all we would go back in a second! "

"We turned up at the hotel for a 3nights extended bank holidays weekend just to find out that the hotel was privatised and fully booked with nowhere to sleep in town or in the neighbouring villages !!! Owner refused to speak to Hotels.com since apparently he has only signed a contract with Expedia (but didn’t acknowledge it was the same company!) and refused to speak English... Hotels.com was not able to sort it out not find anywhere else and we had to drive back home 3hrs in the other direction...

"Traditionally French. Comfortable and clean hotel. Surprised to get charged extra €€ for a small amount of milk. Breakfast very small and limited; Don’t expect anything hot! "

"A lovely newly refurbished house. I loved the premium quality cotton sheets and duvet cover. A super kingsize bed, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly squeezed orange juice( rare) bread, mini viennoiserie and home made jams. The hosts were very friendly and spoke English. The village is very peaceful, and the countryside all around is lovely. A great place to stay"

"Hard to find, but problem with Hotels.com was corrected after we arrived. Also be prepared for no WiFi. Pascal and Marie Rose (or Rose Marie?) were outstanding, greeting us and giving us detailed descriptions of what to see as well as sharing our mutual traveling adventures. "

"Chambre loin de tout ; complètement isolée ; aucune restauration à proximité ; confort de la chambre spartiate ; wc pas dans la chambre ; serviettes de toilette toutes petites ; pas de drap de bain ; petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur (pain, beurre, confiture, un yaourt et c'est tout) ; prix affiché de la chambre inférieur au paiement alors que cela devrait être le contraire . Si on passe par le site, c'est pas pour avoir un prix négocié !!!!"

"Merci à Brigitte et son mari pour l’accueil et les surprises, trop bien 😀 Le gîte est comme décrit et très chaleureux, calme et sérénité au rendez-vous. L’endroit est idéalement situé pour decouvrir Alesia et bien d’autres lieux.Dijon en train comme nous l’a conseillé la propriaitaire est vraiment facile d’accès. Il ne manquait que le soleil. A refaire pour continuer à visiter cette belle region et deguster vins et nourritures."

"Lovely stay, weather gorgeous - Patrice very helpful. Garden needs a little attention, particularly by the steps. Needs to supply more cups otherwise more than enough utensils and crockery. Advertised as a smoking house but Patrice preferred not."
