"We have stayed at the Rheinhotel Dreesen many times and the staff is without fail friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, pretty, fastidiously clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast spread is wonderful and you're dining in a spectacular room with huge windows looking out over the river and across at castle-topped hills. It's definitely worth springing for a room with a balcony on the river if you can swing it -- gorgeous sunrises, glittering lights at night, boats and swans passing by. The rooms facing the street are nice too -- beautiful huge trees outside and there's no street noise at all. The neighborhood is exceptionally lovely, quiet, and very safe, and you're in easy walking distance to many wonderful small shops and restaurants as well as the Bad Godesberg train station. "

"Great beds. Restaurant service and food were terrific. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the old town. Underground paid parking. Small drawback, soap on the wall next to the sink Is positioned so that it’s difficult to pump. Would recommend this hotel strongly."

"Very unique property. Really cool infinity pool and catwalk over the event space. Junior Suite was great, regular room less great--stayed in both as we arrived a day early. A little disappointed the hotel wouldn't honour the price we paid for the 4 day stay in a Junior Suite when we added a day due to the Farmer-road-blockades. That was poorly handled--a little too by-the-book and lacking compassion on that one. Might stay again--would have been a definite would stay again had their customer service instincts been a little more on point. "

"One indication of a good hotel is that it put things right if a problem occurs, I think. And this is what happened at the beginning of our 10 day stay after a mix-up with our booking. We have stayed a number of times before at this hotel, and for good reason; though it is again under new management. But overall it is still excellent generally. And ... still the blackbirds sing so consistently in the garden throughout the day that it seems they should be on the pay-roll! The large restaurant over-looking that splendid garden area really has the look, and the food and service is very good too. As is the welcoming attitude of the staff."
