"For the Americans: Slept Great, fantastic property, with 5 star views of the fjord. I traveled in Sept, so it wasn't incredibly busy. But what is highly underrated? The food! Breakfast and dinner! The restaurant below provides food made with love and care, and great service. Honestly wish I stayed longer. Thank you Trolltunga hotel!"

"Wir sind als Familie mit drei Erwachsenen im August 2026 gereist. Wir hatten vor der Reise einige Fragen (in Norwegisch und Englisch) an die Vermieter Bente und Asbjørn, die immer schnell und sehr freundlich beantwortet wurden. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und können das Haus empfehlen. Außen:Das Haus macht einen guten Eindruck. Weißes Holzhaus mit hübschen Sprossenfenstern. Große Terrasse mit Windschutz, Sonnenjalousie, Tisch und bequemen Stühlen. Großer Gasgrill. Grundstück mit großer Wiese bis zum Wasser. Kleiner Steg direkt am Fjord lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Berg beginnt 50 Meter hinterm Haus. Dort Grillplatz mit Bänken.Innen:Die Einrichtung ist teilweise Alt/Antik, aber nett. Insgesamt sehr gemütlich. Der Stromzähler ist oben im SZ.Küche:Moderne Einrichtung. Kaffeemaschine Mokka Master für Filterkaffee (Nr. 4). Herd (Glaskeramik), Backofen, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspüler, Wasserkocher, Standmixer, Toaster, Eierkocher, Waffeleisen. Sehr viel Besteck, Geschirr, Töpfe, Pfannen. Diverse Gewürze. Einige Putzmittel. Schlafzimmer:Alle vier Schlafzimmer sind nett hergerichtet. Gute Matratzen. Es gibt Bettwäsche (Decke, Kissen, Bettbezüge, Bettlaken). Im SZ am Bad gibt es viel Platz im Schrank. Wohnzimmer:Antike und neuere Möbel. Tisch mit 6 Plätzen. Gemütliches großes Ecksofa. Sitzbank. Bequemer Lehnsessel mit Fußschemel. Kaminofen mit viel Holz. Klimagerät. TV. WiFi und schnelles Internet."

"Cute new modern apt above Odda, comfy bed, nice small kitchen and really clean with no mold which can really bother me. and convenient laundry room for a small fee. For those with mobility issue there are steep steps going down and no elevator for luggage, also hot tub and sauna are about 7 miles away. Great proximity to town and the parking above was not full so we didn’t have to park downtown and walk up! We loved our stay!!"

"The hotel was perfectly situated close to the train station and close to attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was great, as was the outdoor patio. The room was a little cramped for what we expected but given all the other amenities and the location this is a minor criticism. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Oslo."

"The host was very welcoming. We wanted to have a winter bbq and they prepared chaires with a nice fur en helped us to make te fire place in the house. The house a dated but it has everything it needs. Surrounding is beautiful! "
