Everything was very good. The only negative point was the absence of complimentary water in the room . Room was clean . The bed was comfortable and the location was very good. The breakfast was a bit higher than average.

A bit dated but our executive suite was roomy and comfortable, with a fridge and microwave, dishes, cutlery etc at a very reasonable cost. Staff were all great and friendly - front desk, breakfast room, cleaners all! Breakfast can be included but is the same everyday with small variations, and a bit boring after a few days.

In the shadow, of course, of the Alvear Palace Hotel with it's magnificent belle epoch interiors and array of dining facilities for all tastes and, to a certain extent, budgets. Savvy attendees of events at the CCC would be wise to lodge at the Ulises and spend the savings indulging themselves across the road. The staff at the Ulises were all very friendly with passable accommodations and a 24 hour front desk. We took a labyrinthine 'Executive Suite' on the eighth floor. Most suitable to our particular requirements but then we are bohemian world travellers in pursuit of knowledge, not luxury. If you are not too fussy (though the place is far from Augean) and value locale and idiosyncrasy above sameness, this could be the place for you. I just hope you don't go and book it up before me next time I blow in to BA. :-) Oh! and the kitchen equipment inventory XP says you are yearning to learn about: as I recall, our suite boasted a microwave and a highly effective fridgador, but no tea kettle or hob. So, this is more a dormitory with table and chairs than a true home-from-home. Ciao Luis.

Good choice for the price

Excellent location, friendly staff. A tad run down; poor breakfast (at additional free from $15). Plumbing needs a bit of work (toilets keep running--they function fine, but that running water sound was impossible to stop in our room and the room next door). Suite comes with small stove, microwave, fridge, and few plates etc. Friendliness and proximity to Recoleta cemetery and other sites made it a good choice, particularly given low price (at least by US standards).

The neighborhood is extremly convienitent with tourist attractions and major bus lines in easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreaciated having a microwave, plates, bowls and cutlery in the room. I found the breakfast only average. Some days tehere was ham, cheese or eggs on one day there was no protein. Just pastries, bread and cereal. Some days there were apples, oranges and bananas, but not everyday.

The building is dated so it’s not in good condition and not very clean. Couple bugs in the room and a dirty shower. Front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English though. The room was large and had a fridge and kitchen. Great location!
