Bamboo Bungalow is nestled within the gated community of Mar-A-Mar, offering 24/7 security, a free parking spot, and access to two pools—one exclusively shared among just four units and another shared with the entire community.

Our bungalow features a lovely balcony, an open-concept kitchen and living room, a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with a queen-size bed plus a single bed, and a full bathroom.


A VIP concierge will be at your service before and during your stay, assisting with transportation from the airport to Santa Teresa (by plane or car/shuttle) and arranging rentals for ATVs, Rhinos, or 4x4 vehicles, ready at the property’s parking lot. We can also organize private chefs, Yoga and Pilates sessions, surf lessons, massages, and much more!

The location is just perfect! In the heart of Santa Teresa Beaches, steps away from the best surf point known as La Lora, amazing restaurants, cafes, nice shops and supermarkets!

From the parking area, there are just a few steps leading down to the bungalow.

The bungalow boasts an open-concept kitchen and living room, perfect for socializing and cooking. It includes a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and an additional single bed.

The bathroom is thoughtfully designed, featuring two sinks, a shower enclosed by a door, and a separate toilet with its own door. This layout allows up to four people to use the bathroom simultaneously while maintaining privacy.

A semi-private swimming pool, shared with only four other apartments, enhances your stay by offering a more exclusive experience.

Our bungalow is ideal for families, couples, or small groups looking for comfort, privacy, and 24/7 security.


We encourage you to rent a car or ATV to discover town and the beauty of the Peninsula.

- Internet: We have fiber optic with 2 different providers so when one service goes down, we have the other as back up!
- Animals & Insects: Get ready to see wildlife in its natural habitat! Howler and white-faced monkeys often pass through the bamboo near the bungalow, along with iguanas and raccoons! Being in Costa Rica, you might also spot harmless insects like ants, cockroaches or geckos, especially during the rainy season. Don’t worry, this is just part of the tropical environment, not a cleanliness issue!
- Power Outages: Power cuts are common in Santa Teresa and you may experience them during your stay. This is a normal part of the local environment.
- Humidity: Santa Teresa has an average annual relative humidity of 74%, with peaks up to 87% in October and lows around 71% in February. This high humidity can make it difficult for clothes to dry, especially during the rainy season.
It’s completely normal for clothing to take longer to dry in these conditions.

Just what we were looking for

What a great place! Everything was great for the duration of our visit and we'd return for sure. The host was very accommodating, making suggestions and/or arrangements for various activities in area. The location was great, making for a short/easy walk to the beach and a few local restaurants. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family of 4 including two kiddos. Thank you!!!
