The staff was nice. The room was spacious. However, the bathrooms were bad. We stayed in 2 different rooms on 2 different occasions. The first time the bathtub was completely clogged. The second time, the shower was not working. They need to have a better maintenance of bathrooms.

Melia on Reconquista - very nice indeed!

Very clean, staff professionally dressed; many spoke acceptable English to offset my little Spanish. Checkout time can take a tad longer than I am used to, but I have not been involved with international hotel checkouts. The dinner buffet was very good for the price; I felt the breakfast buffet was good but a tad pricey. Overall, an excellent place and I would easily recommend folks visiting BA to stay there

This was initially advertised as Meliá Hotel in Expedia. It was a surprise to me when I arrived to see it was a Doubletree. Staff was very nice and polite. The rooms were very clean too. Bathrooms lack of airflow but if you open the windows and turn on the AC you won’t notice the smell.

What I disliked the most was that on arrival, we were informed that there were no rooms available. Other than that it was only one day wasted and we were only in BA for one day. We had 4 hours of fun finding somewhere else to stay at twice the price😂

The air conditioner in my room did not work for the first 4 nights, I complained every night and they will fix it and then it will break again. The staff was super nice and the room comfortable but it was difficult to sleep with hot air coming out when is already hot outside.
