Hotel San Teodoro
10/10 Excellent
"We weren’t sure where to stay in Sardinia, but we’re so glad we chose Hotel San Teodoro! The hotel was absolutely fantastic. Some of the highlights included an incredible breakfast spread, a stylish onsite bar and restaurant, a beautiful pool area, and convenient shuttle rides to and from town.
While the hotel is located about 10 minutes from downtown San Teodoro, the shuttle service (€10 per person, per day) made it easy and hassle-free to get around.
Our only real disappointment was the front desk’s recommendation to visit the “hotel’s beach,” which turned out to be extremely crowded—thousands of people packed in—which was a letdown. If you're planning to explore the island, we highly recommend renting a car so you can discover some of the more secluded, less touristy beaches.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return if given the chance!

"We finished our trip visiting Sardinia for the very first time. We spent time in the northwest of the island and then spent time on the southwest side of the island. We ended the trip closer to the airport at Hotel Ristorante L'Aragosta. Everywhere we went was fantastic and this was no exception. Only wish we had more time. Hope to come back in the future.

"Great location in a small but quaint town. The beach is walking distance, from middle of the resort property to the edge of the water is around 10minutes. The path was pedestrian designated and there are proper crosswalks to go into the beach parking lot...I'd say you can probably walk a toddler and feel safe enough to do so.
We rented a car and hopped around a bit to other beaches but found the 'home beach' to be the best. The stretch closest to the resort is sort of smack in the middle, so the peope that stayed in town likely won't walk down that far and it's really close to the beach restaurant/bar.
The hotel's pool is great, big enough for everybody. I don't think they were at max capacity, so it wasn't hard to find a lounge chair/umbrella during the day. It was, very nice, with a lifeguard on duty too.
We didn't do full board, and only had the breakfast plan, but that itself was very good. About 3 steps above a continental breakfast, different choices of yogurt, eggs/bacon, cold cut, cheese and different types of bread. Sure, they don't have am omlette station or anything like that but the dining room was very well staffed and the food is great.
We stayed in a classic/standard double room, it was big enough and the bed was comfortable enough. The suite was right on the garden level, so we have a bit of ant situation going on there... All rooms seems to have outside space and there is a little rack there for you to hang your bathing suits/what nots.

"Was waiting outside the property for more than 3 hrs. No one picked up the call until after 3 hrs. This was our 1st time travelling to aboard and it was the most scary experience as not many people speak English or understand. We thought we got scammed cuz when they 1st picked up the call they said we don’t have the booking on your name. We were with our bags and lagged outside looking for the property. Also the taxi driver left us somewhere els and we had to walk half and he with our bags to find out stay. After messing and calling multiple times someone called us and said they had issues with this apartment which should have been done before we landed. We weren’t awake of it. They came to pick us up n dropped us at another hotel. "
Villa Mariposa sea view with private pool, garden, BBQ area, free wi-fi
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time at Sarah's villa. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept. The pool was a lot bigger than we thought it would be and we couldn't have asked for anymore with regards to the multiple outdoor areas we had access for. The views from the pool area are divine. It is so peaceful too.The villa itself surpassed our expectations. We stayed as a party of 6 adults and one baby and it was plentiful in size. Clean and well equipped. Was perfect for our stay. One week later and missing sitting out on the balcony with my morning coffee. So glad we decided to choose this villa."
"A modern, thoughtfully designed property on a hilltop overlooking Nuoro. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful with a small problem that I had. The rooms were modern and comfortable. One issue that we found everywhere in Sardinia is that the rooms don't have enough electrical outlets, making it a bit of a hassle to charge personal devices. The breakfast was fine in a room with a great view overlooking the town. One plus, during the off-season, is that there are enough travelers for business, so the property offers the full range of services. At other properties in the off-season, the lack of guests can result in limited services. Also, excellent parking. Definitely recommend for car travelers. Because it is located 2 km from the city center, it may be a hassle for persons who don't have a car, although there is good municipal bus service accessible about a five minute walk distant."
"Very nice traditional hotel with superb views over Bitti and the mountains. Restaurant good quality and only real restaurant in Bitti (walking distance).
Bitti itself is a pleasant, but unremarkable village with lots of interesting and steep back streets. Good stop over for a few days if exploring Sardinia "
