Comfortable and functional room, could do with a periodic deep clean but everything worked well. Located close to great places to eat and with great transport links. It's by a main road so you can hear the traffic at night, but the property itself was nice and quiet. Aldi and a fee-free ATM next door, and the check-in and check-out experience was easy and thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was clean and quite and the staff were very attentive to my needs and regularly checked in with me on whatsapp to make sure I get settled in. I would recommend this place.

This was a great place to stay, affordable and very close to transit. Check-in was easy and contactless. The host was lovely as well, easy to get in touch with and offered some great recommendations of where to go for food and sights in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, well maintained, safe. Super comfortable bed and very nice shower. Ample furniture in room. Host was superbly attentive, courteous, forthcoming with lots of helpful information. Easy check in and check out.

very good accommodation! is close to the train station and the city center is 20' on foot or 10' by bus.. a super nice host, was always helpful with questions and tried to make our stay better!!! would book again on my next visit!!

Excellent value!

Excellent value, beautifully decorated. Great location close to many bus stops and bus transportation here is free. Only downside is the wifi is sometimes down. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who has to work from home.

Best place you can stay in Budapest. Host was very welcoming. Whenever I need help, he answered me iin max 5 minutes. I d definitely stay here again if I visit Budapest again. It was super good in every way. Thanks for everything!

The room was comfortable and clean, making it ideal for a short stay. A supermarket is conveniently located just a minute's walk away, and the major public transportation options like the tram and metro are easily accessible. There are also good restaurants nearby which is a plus. The overall property where the accommodation is situated could benefit from some additional maintenance or attention to enhance its appeal.

AVOID

1 did not receive the instructions on how to enter the main door or how to access key box. 7 phone calls and 30+ WhatsApp messages later andcalmost an hour and finally received. It was very stressful. 2 Entered to find only 1 of 2 beds had sheets. Took a day and another 30+ WhatsApp messages to get bed sheet. 3 aircon broken amd despite 4 days of WhatsApp messages, no-one came to fix. 4 Promised refund of first night for inconvenience, after 7 days of WhatsApp messages and admission so many customers had been promised refunds they were begind with honouring these promises, I spent 2 hoyrs on conversations with hotels.com who got the refund. This is NOT a hotel. This is a diabolically run set of private rooms.

This property was indeed a great place to stay, the rooms were a good size and plenty of storage too. We were kept well informed about how to enter the building and a video as to where our rooms were located. Only saw 1 staff member who couldn't speak English but managed to our request none the less. It's in a good location as theres a bus stop across the road, and a supermarket just round the corner. The only down side for me was , my room was facing the busy main road and it was a bit noisy, it probably wouldn't bother some people but i like complete quiet to sleep. All in all i would definitely recommend Elit as a place to stay , the prices are very good too.

Room with easy access, recommended

We stayed here a couple of nights. The location was good by public transport. The street next to the hotel was noisy, so not the best hotel if you have trouble with a loud environment. Noises were okay level, when windows and doors are closed. The room could have been cleaned better and it needs small renovation (floor has been damaged by water from the bathroom). Little fridge would have been a good addition to the room. The host was amazing and super helpful. I recommend the room if your main plan is enjoy the city.

- Communication via messages only. There is no option to talk to a person. The condition of the room is subpar. - Shower conditions can be unsafe. - Daily cleaning was not performed to the expected standard. The floor never seems to be vacuumed. - The adjacent street has plenty of traffic. The place is quite noisy. Some windows are broken and cannot be closed properly, exacerbating the noise problem.

Horrible Accommodation!

The rooms were dirty and had a very powerful mold smell that could not be resolved. The sheets had stains and the bathroom reeked and was not clean. I asked management to do something about the cleanliness of the room and the odor every day during my stay and they did not do anything about it. They even refused to put an air freshener in the room. They never came to clean the room despite my complaints. At the end, we gave up and decided to stay in a different place (ultimately wasting money). Be ware this place is unhygenic and management is hard to reach (no one is ever onsite, and even if you contact them, it is pointless). Skip this place!
