We looked at the more commercialized venues in Marble Falls / Horseshoe Bay and Bastrop (Lost Pines Resort), but none of them accomplished our objective of keeping everyone in one place. Las Luces Village did all that and more. The pool area was perfect in spite of the water being a pretty cloudy. "The property is enclosed in a gate which is super nice if you have pets/kids, however it is right next to a very loud train and seems like homeless people live near it. The middle house is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for hanging out. However, the front home was musty, damp, and had a very old and wet smell to it. Overall, we stayed mostly in the back house and it was very enjoyable, and the property as a hole was great, but the guests that stayed in the front home dealt with allergy...
