"We had 6 friends visiting from the US for 3 days of golf. The house worked very well including to host a group dinner for 12 people total. While you could walk about a half mile to Taplow the location is a bit in the countryside so be prepared to travel by car for most things. We would absolutely rent this home again and it served us well for this trip."

"The house itself was lovely; and it was well organized for our family of four. There were a lot of spaces to enjoy - the living room, a large kitchen, a solarium, and an outdoor deck. It just didn't feel like the host was prepared for us to arrive or was striving to make our stay special. It would have been nice to arrive to bathrooms stocked with the proper amenities. Also, some repairs needed to be made; and the property could have been cleaner, especially the master closets and the outside...

"House is very nice, well equipped and spacious, with multiple bathrooms. Very good if you have an older guest staying with you who may need a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. It's off the beaten path but with easy access to Windsor, Maidenhead, M4, so a short drive into west London or to Heathrow. Good communication with property manager. Just note that the tumble dryer doesn't dry so you will need to hang-dry clothes that you wash. Also, main access to M4 is along a very windy country lane -...

"The house was a good size but very tired and scruffy. Given the price, the furnishings should be in better shape...curtains half hanging off the rail, no shower curtain in the downstairs and master bath, and sofas that were old and needed replacing. The garden didn't look like it had been attended to for years. The check-in communication was not well-coordinated within the booking team. This could be a beautiful property if given the love and care needed."

"The barn was a joy. The fixtures and fittings are very high quality. The garden is beautiful If I was to be unreasonably criical, because we arrived at 2am, a few written instructions about how to switch off the heating and unlock the doors would have been helpful. Kindly, the heating had been switched on to greet us, but it was far to warm for me to sleep. Overall, fantastic, I loved it!"
