HTR Adirondacks

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."

"Very nice quiet spot. The kids loved the playground a few feet down the road. We all enjoyed the fire pit and making smores every night. Inside was clean and spacious enough that we all enjoyed every bit of it . The washer and dryer on site was handy. There was a early morning wake up call from a roaster down the road which we got a kick out of. White Lake was a distance down the road but the family checked out the dock. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and the host was very nice."

"This rental was exactly as described and expected. Elise was friendly, helpful and thorough with check in. We called Elise prior to check in because we couldn't find the property with gps, she offered to come lead us to the property! We look forward to reserving this property again. Both cabins were very clean and very well maintained. The location is perfect, minutes from town but totally quiet and calm. If we had to make one constructive criticism, it would be that the beds were not the most comfortable. But at this price and convenience in Old Forge, this wouldn't be a deal breaker for us, personally."

"This was very convenient for my needs and easy to get to Old Forge. Owners had nice touches like flowers, snack bar, coffee, the right dishes, and toothbrushes for those who may have forgotten. Very clean. Will be back next year!"
