Frühstück war ausreichend jedoch jeden Tag das gleiche. Ich konnte beim Check Inn problemlos das Zimmer wechseln da die Betten zu klein waren. Hotel liegt in hervorragender Lage zur Innenstadt. Sehr freundliche Betreuung in der Hotel-Bar-Cafe. Ansonsten ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen., TV funktionierte nur sehr schwer und nicht immer.

The room was very spacious with lots of light and despite being on a side road you could enjoy an impressive view of the Parliament. I loved the typical architecture of this building and surrounding. The hotel faces a side road which is however quite busy and was a bit worried about the noise level at the beginning but it actually didn't disturb me at all. The bathroom was clean and new. My suggestion to the hotel would be to provide safes to the rooms. Having said that I left my valuables in the room and of course nothing was touched. My only negative remark is that the carpet next to the one of the conditioning units was a bit damaged and damp I presume from some kind of malfunctioning of the unit which resulted in a little bit of smell. It was a really minor defect though. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Shower did not drain properly, requiring one to repeatedly turn off water while showering to allow water to drain (it was filling up and threatening to overflow bottom pan of shower). Overhead light would not turn off completely. All switches in the room resulted in light going from bright to dim but not off completely. Even removing key card from electric switch by the door did not resolve the problem, so room was lit all night. Air conditioning did not work. All settings made room even warmer. Mine was at nearly 25 Celsius. Room was a good size but looked tired. Chairs were discolored, carpet felt less than clean. Room was not ready at check in time (2pm) due to late checkout of previous guests. Near a metro stop but a good walk to anything interesting to see.

Great Reasonably Priced Hotel in Bucharest

The Volo Hotel was conveniently located for Old Town and other tourist sites in Bucharest. The room was specious and the WiFi was excellent. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. It would have helped if it was available before the 0730 opening time. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helped get taxis and give directions.

Prima hotel

De kamer was netjes en groot. Ontbijt is prima en was vers. Vriendelijk personeel. In het restaurantje beneden kan je met korting wat drinken. Goede plek om Boekarest per voet te bezoeken, parlementsgebouw is 10 min lopen, oude binnen stad is ook ongeveer 15 min lopen. Ook hebben ze een afgesloten kamer voor wanneer je je bagage wil achterlaten na het uitchecken.

Second visit.

Return two night stay. They stored our luggage for a week while we travelled around Transylvania. The rooms are large with a sitting area, TV but no kettle. Only down side the bed was so big it did not allow easy access around the bottom & you had to step over the end corner to get to the other side. Did not have breakfast this time but if included it was good if you get there early. Staff were helpful. We liked the area. Subway across the road, about 35 / local money to get to the international airport. Short walk to People’s Palace.

Luggage storage

Enjoyed our two nights with hot b’fast. Good wifi, extra large room, with view. We chose here for luggage storage, so we could travel around for several days with just a small bag. Leaving our suitcase here till we return. Only downside was no kettle to make a cup of tea or coffee & girl in coffee shop was not a friendly helpful person.

Hotel comodo e in pieno centro

Ho soggiornato per 5 notti. L'hotel è comodo a 100mt dalla stazione della metropolitana ed a una fermata dal centro. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione è internazionale e trovi tutto (tranne la nutella ed il caffè espresso!!!)

Good Location

The staff were lukewarm at best. Hotel has no info, maps etc for tourists. Room was big and clean. Our room was across from the breakfast room but it was loud all the time in that room. Location was great. Attached restaurant was good but again luke warm staff.

Schönes Hotel am Rande der Innenstadt

Das Hotel ist in einer sehr guten Lage - gleich in der Nähe der Metrostation Izvor und in einem sehr lebendigen Altbau-Stadtgebiet. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und gut eingerichtet. Der Service war immer zur Stelle, falls es Probleme gab. Leider war es frühs/abends etwas Laut, aufgrund unserer Zimmerlage zur Strße hin. Insgesammt ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss mit guter Stadtlage. Ich würde beim Nächsten Mal wieder dort wohnen.

La chambre était très grande, mais un peu sombre. Le service et la propreté étaient moyen. Quand je suis arrivé dans le chambre, il y avait encore des serviette de bain déjà utilisées dans la salle de bain. Il y a très peu de choix au petit-déjeuner.

Room allocation

We had paid for two rooms in advance but there was a big confusion about our booking that we only got one room it took a long time for reception to sort it out they put us in two rooms then to be told we had to move to another rooms after we had showers + un pack it was sorted in the end but it took long time + we were only there for two night but the hotel is lovely just a shame about the confusion

Great location, but dated and dirty

The hotel is located very near the old town and the metro which makes it ideal for getting around in Bucharest. But the hotel is dated and the rooms are dirty. Our shower had a crack in the floor so you were scared to fall through. The room was not cleaned during our stay and we also found two cockroaches in our room. When I Rolf the receptionist she did nothing and when we check out they said that they never have had a roachproblem, well they do now. I would not recommend this hotel.
