"Rooms were clean and comfortable, location was great. Plenty of convenient parking, staff was kind. The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. Only complaint was how long the water took to get hot, but certainly not a true complaint...it did get hot. Daily housekeeping was good. Easy check in and out. Would definitely stay again."

"Property is great, very helpful front desk staff. It is a short (under 5 minute) drive away from the 'town' area of New Buffalo (and the beach). Don't take the Amtrak to get here like we did though, there are no Lyfts/Ubers. And there is no sidewalk to walk from the property to the town and beach."

"As our grandson proclaimed this week 'This is my favorite Hotel'. We had a wonderful stay. We love the redesign of the lobby, restaurant, and bar. We ate at Plank's on Friday for lunch, Friday for dinner, and Sunday for brunch. We were able to eat outside for 2 of the meals. Our grandsons loved sitting out eating with the heaters on. The turning basin is beautiful, we enjoyed watching folks fishing out in the basin. We had a golf side room which faces Hole 5. We read about the hole in the book in our room and were fascinated watching folks tee off and play. We usually take a golf view because that is the side the train is on!!! Needless to say our 4 yo grandson loves to hear the train whistle as it approaches and runs out to watch it go by. Everyone is always so accommodating and helpful. The stay here is well worth the cost. It is our happy place in St. Joe area."
